Working in the centrally based Student Scheduling team will mean you providing excellent administrative support to taught programmes and activities will include maintaining student, programme and module information, and supporting staff in the organisation of programmes.</p><p>The successful candidate will therefore need to be able to demonstrate an ability to work to a high level of detail, and strong customer focus and understanding of what students and staff need, computing skills (in particular databases). The role will require excellent interpersonal and organisational ability.</p><p>You will need to be adaptable to different situations and should be well organised and methodical in your approach.</p><p>Relevant administrative experience would be a distinct advantage.</p><p>The day to day tasks will include, but not limited to -</p><ul><li>To provide efficient administration and management of activities relating to the maintenance of activity for programme, module and student data for one of three Faculties, ensuring data integrity is achieved and internal and external reporting requirements and deadlines are met.</li><li>To build and maintain effective working relationships with academic staff and colleagues from the wider Chief Student Officer&rsquo;s Directorate.</li><li>To acquire and maintain an excellent working knowledge of the student records system (SITS) and timetabling system (CMIS) to work effectively and efficiently and to contribute to process improvements.</li><li>To receive and process enquiries in a timely, and courteous manner to contribute to the overall student experience.</li><li>To take forward actions on the basis of an agreed schedule for data maintenance, such as programme and module changes, and then entering changes within SITS.</li><li>To edit and produce accurate timetables and related data.</li><li>To apply current processes and procedures in line with University regulations and policy.</li><li>To support key student/Faculty events (such as open days, graduation).</li><li>To work closely with Senior Scheduling Officers to ensure administration of Short Courses is conducted professionally and with attention to detail.<strong>&nbsp;</strong></li></ul><p>This role is offered on a Fixed-Term basis, provisionally until December 2026.</p><p>Please apply via the apply online feature and complete your application form.
