An exciting opportunity for a Research Fellow in Epidemiology and/or statistics has become available in the Clinical Informatics and Health Outcomes research team within the Department of Clinical & Experimental Medicine at the University of Surrey.
The research team has been involved in a wide range of projects over the last 15 years, focusing on how to measure quality and health outcomes from routine data, quality improvement and technology trials, integrating the use of the computer into the clinical consultation, and the surveillance of infectious diseases using routine data.
The team is looking for an enthusiastic candidate to provide high quality research expertise within the multidisciplinary research team, thereby contributing to the delivery of studies within the theme.
The researcher will join the Clinical Informatics and Health Outcomes Research group (https://clininf.eu ) in the Department of Clinical & Experimental Medicine (www.surrey.ac.uk/clinical-and-experimental-medicine ) to extend the research team’s capacity and capability.
The researcher for this post will be responsible for a variety of research activities across a portfolio of UK and EU projects. These tasks comprehend but not exclusive of: provide administrative support for a wide variety of research-related activities, conduct data collection, develop new interactive tools, qualitative analysis, quantitative analysis under the supervision of the Principal Investigator, Prof Simon de Lusignan and the Senior Project Manager, Dr Filipa Ferreira.
This post will be undertaken in a vibrant, inter-disciplinary research environment with a strong international reputation. The post is available immediately and is offered on fixed term contract.
