            <p id="isPasted">We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Psychologist to join the Clinical Psychology Training Programme at the University of Surrey, based in Guildford.</p><p>We have a permanent, full-time role available. We are happy to support hybrid working but the post holder is expected to be in on Monday and Tuesday when the trainees are at the University, and at other times as required to meet the operational running of the programme.</p><p><strong>The role</strong></p><p>The programme has expanded significantly in recent years due to increased NHS England funding. Joining now offers the chance to be part of a period of growth, development, and innovation.</p><p>The post-holder will:</p><ul><li>Work closely with local NHS Trusts</li><li>Support placements, supervisor training, and trainee supervision</li><li>Contribute to the collaborative university&ndash;NHS training environment</li></ul><p><strong>About the Programme &amp; School</strong></p><ul><li>The PsychD team is a welcoming, innovative group with diverse clinical and research interests</li><li>The programme sits within the Discipline of Clinical and Health Psychology in the School of Psychology</li><li>The School has an excellent reputation for applied psychology teaching and research</li><li>You will join a vibrant department with strong commitments to inclusion, antiracism, and serving under-represented communities</li><li>There are opportunities for professional development, including eligibility for a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education (if not already held)</li></ul><p><strong>About you</strong></p><p>Applicants must be HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologists.</p><p>We welcome all areas of clinical expertise, with particular interest in candidates experienced in neuropsychological assessment or working with older adults and people with learning disabilities.</p><p>Successful candidates will:</p><ul><li>Work effectively as part of a team</li><li>Be committed to developing trainee clinical competencies</li><li>Ideally contribute to the programme&rsquo;s research profile</li><li>Support inclusive leadership and embed equality, diversity, and inclusion throughout the programme</li></ul><p>All post-holders need to:</p><ul><li>Hold a doctorate in clinical psychology (or equivalent)</li><li>Contribute to evaluation of clinical competencies</li><li>Develop and maintain links with local NHS Trusts</li><li>Contribute to teaching, learning, and programme administration</li><li>Engage in leadership development opportunities offered by the role</li><li>Have experience working in the NHS</li></ul><p>This post will be offered at Lecturer A or B level depending on clinical and teaching experience (see job profiles below for more information).
