The University of Surrey has a vacancy for Senior Administrator and Project Officer.

Working in the department of Library and Learning Services (LLS) you will provide high level administrative and project support to the Director of LLS and, on occasions, to other members of the Senior Management Team. You will support the Director through oversight of a complex calendar and schedules for meetings, the compilation and preparation of documents and the coordination of contributions to University planning and reporting processes.

In addition you will have oversight of a variety of central administrative services delivered to the department, including human resource processes and admin related financial activities and coordination of the department’s GDPR records.  You will support and enhance internal communication within the department and you will assist in the management and coordination of departmental projects.

You will be assisted in these responsibilities by a Departmental Assistant and Office Coordinator for whom you will have line-management responsibility.

LLS is a vibrant department, very much at the heart of University activity.  We are looking for a self-motivated and flexible individual, qualified to degree level or with significant relevant experience, who has excellent organisational, interpersonal, IT and communication skills and who will enjoy working in a dynamic and highly customer-focussed environment.

In addition to your salary you will receive a generous annual leave entitlement and excellent development opportunities. Benefits package includes generous salary package, award-winning pension scheme, child care assistance and discounted membership to our world-renown Surrey Sports Park.
