University of Surrey SETsquared Surrey Business Incubator– Hub Business Developer

This 3 year fixed term contract (ending in August 2019) is a unique opportunity for you to work as part of the dynamic and creative SETsquared Surrey Team in our Partnerships unit, where you will play pivotal role in delivering a Digital Business Acceleration Hubs Programme by promoting and communicating the opportunity to SME Digital businesses in the local region and beyond, recruiting companies into the programme and assisting them throughout their supported period.

We are looking for someone with an interest in SME businesses and well developed communication and people skills and excellent organisation and project skills.  A well developed interest in digital technology would be an advantage as you will be supporting SMEs to engage with the digital technology community and will need to understand where to focus your recruitment to secure eligible companies.

This post has a business development focus and would suit a candidate with experience in sales and promotional activities. The role will be based at the Surrey Technology Centre in Guildford but will require travel and mobile working in the local region.
