Reporting to the Vice President Human Resources, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join a dynamic and forward thinking organisation in a challenging and rewarding environment.
You will primarily be responsible for leading a small HR team within the Faculty of Health & Medical Sciences, providing a supportive, high quality service to over 520 staff. Working closely with the Executive Dean, Heads of Schools and senior management, you will provide professional advice and leadership on all HR-related issues and work to identify ways in which the HR function can support the business and solve challenges that arise. You will have the opportunity to contribute to wider organisational initiatives through your partnership with other HR Managers across the University, which may involve specific project work.
Working largely autonomously, you will need to be comfortable exercising a high degree of initiative, self-motivation and professional judgement, and have a high level of accountability.
