We are seeking to make a new appointment to join our vibrant and highly successful School. We are pleased to receive applications from strong candidates in events. The successful candidate will have expertise in this field and will be expected to teach on both our BSc in International Event Management and MSc in International Event Management programme across two or more of the following areas: Event Policy and Planning, Event-led Urban Development and Regeneration, Event Strategy and Leveraging, Event Tourism and the Role of Events in the Visitor Economy, and Critical Event Studies and/or Human Rights and Major Events. Candidates should also have a research agenda that connects to one or more of the School’s three research centres, which concentrate on competitiveness, sustainability and wellbeing, and digital transformation in the visitor economy, as well as the new Observatory for Human Rights and Major Events (HaRM).
