A pro-active, self-motivated and highly organised individual is required to provide professional administrative support to the Department of Mathematics, acting as the Department Administrator and providing PA support to the Head of Department.

Possessing excellent verbal and written communication skills, you will have previous experience of working in an administrative environment and ideally experience of working in the Higher Education Sector.

You will demonstrate good IT skills and the ability to manage a varied workload under pressure.  Excellent inter-personal skills and a pro-active approach are essential, together with accuracy and a keen eye for detail.

The post holder will work alone to support the Head of Department and all staff and postgraduate students within the Department, therefore the ability to work independently using your own initiative to manage work and resolve issues is essential.

This position is a permanent full-time position. We are looking to fill this position with a start date of 15 September 2020.
