An opportunity has arisen for a full time Widening Participation Evaluation and Data Officer based in the Widening Participation Research, Evaluation and Data team which report to the Head of Market Insight and Data situated in Strategic Planning. 

The post holder will be responsible for evaluating initiatives that support the Success and Progression of current students and the work of the WP Research and Evaluation Manager.  The role requires experience of using both qualitative and quantitative methodologies, including questionnaire design and analysing data to produce reports.  Knowledge of Widening Participation policy and practice is desirable.

The WP Research and Evaluation team have responsibility for the strategic evaluation of Access, Success and Progression activities and the post holder will work across university services such as Careers and Employability, Student Services, Additional Learning Support (ALS), Centre for Wellbeing and the Academic Skills and Development team to provide evaluation support to ensure the delivery of the University’s Access and Participation Plan.

The Evaluation and Data Officer will be located centrally within the Widening Participation and Outreach Department, reporting to the WP Research and Evaluation Manager.
