The Biomedical Research Facility (BRF) is a state of the art, fully compliant under ASPA, research facility. It opened in 2018 following a substantial investment from the University. The BRF is a corner stone of our "one health" vision and support a wide variety of research projects, including chronobiology, oncology, cardiology and infectiology.
We are looking for an experienced Animal Technician to join our friendly and ambitious team. This is a fixed term position, however with the Facility expanding there may be an opportunity for the position to become permanent.
We would be delighted to hear from you if you have experience with caring for animals under ASPA , hold or have held a PIL ,and you place animal welfare in the centre of everything you do.
The successful candidate will be required to work most or all their hours on site. In addition, they will need to participate to the weekend rota.
