Exciting opportunity for an experienced and proactive PA to join The Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, in providing excellent administrative support to the Head of School for the School of Veterinary Medicine and other senior academics.

Reporting to the Executive Assistant, whilst also providing skilled PA support to the Head of School, you will possess excellent communication skills, strong interpersonal and influencing skills, together with an advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office.  You will need to be highly organised, and able to work on your own initiative, sometimes under pressure and to competing/tight deadlines.

The role will require you to have a high level of accuracy, experience with complex diary management and problem solving skills; focusing on administration support for senior staff within the School, organising high level meetings and events, meeting facilitation and minute taking, including ad hoc projects as appropriate.  The role will include line management of the School Administrator, who the post holder will work closely with to ensure the smooth running of the School.

As requested via the Executive Assistant and/or Business Operations Manager this role will also include providing absence cover for the School Administrator and as required, across the wider Faculty PA and Administration team. You will be able to demonstrate a flexible approach to managing your team and workload.
