The School of Literature and Languages is a vibrant and innovative School with an international research and teaching portfolio. By joining us, you will be using your technical and interpersonal skills to support our students and academics.

You will run the Faculty’s specialist language teaching and learning facilities as well as the language learning media and resources used by staff and students for teaching, research and self-study. Your team of assistants will provide support to students using our language learning resources for independent study, so you will guide the team and advise learners appropriately.

A key area will be to identify gaps in the provision of language learning and teaching with regards to digital resources, and source or create suitable resources and specialist solutions. You will also provide training on the digital language labs, interpreting labs, multimedia labs and language software, and provide specialist advice and recommendations in the use of technology for language learning and teaching.

Your application will demonstrable experience using or supporting the use of language learning technology and audio-visual equipment, your technical aptitude and working knowledge of digital resources, and experience of managing and training staff.
