An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Post-mortem technician in the School of Veterinary Medicine, supporting our Pathology based teaching, research and commercial programmes within the Veterinary Pathology Centre

The School of Veterinary Medicine aims to create a wealth of new knowledge of the animal world, taking a multi-disciplinary approach to veterinary education and research and creating the veterinary leaders of the future. With over £45m of investment, international and multi-partner collaborations, coupled with a multi-disciplinary approach and state-of-the-art equipment, teaching and research facilities, it could open up a world of possibilities for you too.  So join us at the forefront of developments in veterinary sciences.

Working as part of the Pathology technical staff you will help delivering a high standard of technical support for Post-mortemteaching, research and commercial activities within our new purpose built facilities.

Ideally you will have an understandingofACDP2,3SAPO3&ASPAregulations, possess good meat cutting skills in a physically demanding role.  You will also have experience of managing people and resources, and a solid understanding of relevant health and safety issues. A workingknowledgeand/or experience of working in CL3 Facilitieswould be desirable.
