Student Services and Administration is seeking a motivated individual to join the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences Student Services Team.  You will work closely with the Senior Administrative Officer (Programmes), providing administrative support to a range of credit bearing programmes and courses delivered at the University.  

 This position requires an individual who enjoys working directly with and advising students. The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate a strong customer focus and understanding of what students and staff need, computing skills (in particular databases), with the ability to work to a high level of accuracy. The role will require excellent interpersonal and organisational ability. You will need to be adaptable to different situations and should be well organised and methodical in your approach. Relevant administrative experience would be a distinct advantage.

A good team player, you will have proven administration experience, have an approachable and understanding manner and have an eye for detail.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential as you will be in contact with a wide range of people. The ability to work well in a team is also vital and you may be expected to show flexibility to assist colleagues in other areas during busy times.
