We are looking to recruit an experienced Manager from a catering or retail background to manage one of our most successful catering outlets. You will be tasked with assisting the Hospitality & Events Manager to deliver a planned refresh of the outlet by introducing an improved and innovative food offer ready for the new academic year

We expect you to interact regularly with the students, staff and visitors who enjoy our food – and to work with the operations team to develop new ideas, concepts and food innovations to maximise sales.

Tasks will include:

  • Working closely with the Hospitality & Events Manager and Head Chef to deliver excellent customer service and fantastic food
  • Responsible for the day to day running of the outlet & Hospitality
  • Deliver innovative marketing calendar and promotions
  • Manage the Front of House team
  • To ensure the highest level of customer service and food standards are achieved
  • Assist in delivering financial targets
  • Ensure all H&S and Food Safety standards are adhered to
  • Ensure all compliance procedures are adhered to
  • Ability to lead, motivate and develop a team
  • Asist with rota planning and staff deployment

The ideal candidate will:

  • A passion for food and service
  • Strong interpersonal communication and people skills enabling great interaction  and relationship building with teams and customers
  • Able to adapt management style to get the best out of them, able to lead and motivate Methodical and able plan and work under pressure
  • Financial acumen and computer literacy
  • Attention to details is imperative
