The University of Surrey is seeking to appoint a Trusts and Foundations (T&F) Manager to lead and develop the University’s trust fundraising with key foundations in the UK and overseas. This is a great opportunity for an energetic, detail-orientated self-starter to work in an amazing team. S/he will present the University’s fascinating world-leading research, and a great variety of projects, to an external audience of funders.  
 
The Trusts and Foundations Manager will be based in the Advancement team, reporting to the Head of Major Gifts. Under the leadership of the President and Vice-Chancellor, Professor Max Lu, the University has recently invested in and expanded its alumni and fundraising activities. This journey has just begun and it is a great time to join an energetic, engaged team as they work to develop relationships with the University’s 115,000 alumni and supporters around the world. Trusts and Foundations are a key part of the University’s plans to grow philanthropy and further investment will follow.

We are looking for an experienced Trust and Foundation Manager to develop our fundraising with UK and international trusts and foundations. The successful candidate will be a clear communicator with a passion for education and strong research and proposal writing skills. They should be able to demonstrate a track record of success and the ability to work closely with academic colleagues to develop and present proposals.
