We are looking for someone with an enthusiasm to join our Library team. This post provides support in the day-to-day operation of the Content team of the University Library and in the provision of content for students, staff and external visitors using the Library.  This role contributes towards a positive student/staff experience, though the provision of this content.

Working within the Content team the post holder will support the ordering, receipting and processing of all types of Library material both physical and electronic, taking care to enter correct financial details as funds are committed.  You will also support requests of materials from customers including external requests for material from the University via the interlibrary loan system, and deal with routine customer enquiries using the University enquiry management system. 

Part of the role is supporting stock projects and activities, which may include re-shelving, stock re-spacing as well as carrying out basic changes to catalogue records.

We are looking for a flexible team worker with excellent attention to detail with the ability to work with limited supervision and a commitment to providing our customers with the best possible service. You should also have the ability to work with common IT software like MS Office, and ideally have had previous experience using Library automated systems.
