The role

The International Marketing Coordinator at University of Surrey plays an important role in advancing Surrey's global presence and attracting prospective international students. Reporting to the International Marketing Manager within the International Recruitment and Marketing team, this position will support the implementation and delivery of marketing campaigns and projects, ensuring the strategic initiatives to enhance the University of Surrey's international student recruitment efforts are met in driving international growth.

Duties:

- Coordinate the development and delivery of effective and efficient marketing and recruitment campaigns, activity and plans designed to meet the objectives of University of Surrey's international strategy.

- Coordinate the implementation of projects that will enable the international recruitment and marketing team to achieve their objectives and realise emerging opportunities and trends.

- Create compelling content which can be used across multiple marketing channels, including digital, social and print.

- Understanding of data analytics to ensure campaigns are measured effectively for optimal results, as well as providing regular reports on campaign performance.

About you

We welcome applications from individuals who possess the following attributes:

- A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline and/or relevant work experience in marketing and communications.

- Knowledge and experience of marketing concepts, applications, project management and campaign planning.

- Great relationship management skills and an ability and confidence to present and report to key stakeholders – emotional intelligence to work with a variety of different stakeholders and colleagues.

- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate, consult and negotiate with stakeholders.

- Experience of managing a diverse workload, and the ability to multi-task concurrent projects.

- Experience of the digital environment and how best to use this channel for effective marketing.

- Exhibit initiative, strategic thinking, creativity and effective problem-solving skills.

 Demonstrable passion and enthusiasm for working in higher education would be desirable.
