The role

We have a great opportunity to join our School Administration team in the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, based within the University of Surrey. 

The Faculty is a truly inspirational and fascinating environment to work in.  Delivering teaching to over 4000 undergraduate students training to be the Nurses, Paramedics, Midwives, Bioscientists, Psychologists, Medics and Veterinary Surgeons of the future. 

The position will suit someone who has strong organisation and planning skills, enjoys working with people and thrives on variety. 

Our facilities and those of the wider University present a wonderful backdrop for the right person to contribute to wider society and develop their skills and career.

You’ll become a key team member, working as part of a motivated team with the opportunity to build your skills and career within one of our five schools. Responsible for supporting key administrative activities and senior school staff members with diary management, servicing meetings, setting up meeting rooms and assisting with school events and conferences. There’s lots of variety, lots of interaction with academics, research colleagues and students and the opportunity to learn and develop.  

About you

We are looking for an organised, enthusiastic individual with a genuine interest in administration.  

You will be familiar with working autonomously and as part of a wider team. You’ll be confident in dealing with staff queries, have a hands-on approach and be willing to support the wide PA/administration team when required. Training will be in place to support you and help you develop in the role.
