The role
Are you someone who enjoys supporting people, working within a motivated team and variety in the scope of your role? We have a great opportunity for a skilled communicator and highly numerate person to join our friendly Research Office in Surrey's Faculty of Art, Business and Social Sciences. This role requires strong interpersonal and organisational skills, showcasing adaptability and flexibility in managing evolving workloads and priorities. You should possess good IT skills, including MS Office and be willing to learn the different University IT systems.

About you
This exciting opportunity will suit a flexible, enthusiastic, and self-motivated individual with experience in budgeting and financial administration. This is a key role facilitating the effective administration of externally funded research projects from research costing applications through to successful awards and the set-up of new research projects. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with other professional service team members to deliver essential support services to the faculty's research community. Utilising collaborative methods and proactive service delivery, the post holder will play a pivotal role in ensuring timely bid preparation and submission inline with internal and external deadlines. We seek a proactive individual proficient in IT, adaptable to change, and capable of working autonomously with a keen eye for detail.
