The role

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Mental Health First Aid Instructor (part-time contract at upto 18 hours/week)to deliver accredited MHFA training to students and staff. The postholder will support the university’s efforts to raise mental health awareness, build a network of trained Mental Health First Aiders, and help foster a compassionate, supportive campus culture. 

About you

We are seeking an empathetic and engaging facilitator with a passion for promoting mental health awareness and reducing stigma. You are confident in delivering structured training, yet flexible in your approach—adapting your style to suit different audiences and learning needs. You value evidence-based practice, understand the nuances of working within an educational institution, and are committed to supporting a mentally healthy university culture.

Your emotional intelligence, professionalism, and collaborative nature make you a trusted presence in wellbeing conversations, and you’re motivated by helping others build the confidence to support themselves and those around them.
