The role

The University of Surrey is seeking proactive and enthusiastic Student Enterprise Engagement Officers to join our Student Employability and Enterprise Team. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students from all disciplines to develop entrepreneurial mindsets, build confidence, and explore opportunities ranging from innovative graduate careers to self-employment and start-up creation. 

Working within the Student Success Department, you will play a key role in creating and delivering a vibrant programme of enterprise activities that help students develop the skills, knowledge and networks needed to succeed in their future ambitions.

About you

We're looking for someone who combines excellent organisational skills with a passion for student development and enterprise.

You will have:

  • Experience organising, coordinating or delivering enterprise, innovation, employability or skills-development activities.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to delivering outcomes.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders and build effective partnerships.
