The University is seeking exceptional candidates for the post of Senior Lecturer in Sociology in the Department of Sociology. You should hold a relevant doctoral degree and will have a clear and developing profile of high-quality publications in international journals, extensive experience of teaching sociology in higher education, and the ability to make a substantial contribution to the development of courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and to the administration of the Department. Expertise in qualitative methods is essential. Additional expertise will also be desirable in one of these areas: Race and Ethnicity; Sociology of Religion, Urban Sociology, Environmental Sociology or Workplace Studies.
