The Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences at the University of Surrey is a recognised world-leader in Biosciences research and currently supports more than 4000 students in a variety of teaching environments.

We are looking to recruit a motivated, enthusiastic individual to provide front line support in the School of Biosciences and Medicine. The successful applicant will work with senior technicians to prepare and deliver undergraduate practical classes in Biochemistry for up to 200 students in our purpose-built teaching laboratory.

The ideal candidate will have skills including solution making and cell culture. The successful applicant will be involved in practicals including Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Immunology and Food science.

You will be interacting with students and other members of the technical team on a daily basis and delivering a high level of customer care will be an important aspect of this role.

Adhering to current Health & Safety legislation and best practise at all times, you will be very well organised, practical and diligent. You will also be a strong communicator and be prepared to work flexibly during term time.
