The Department of Marketing and Retail Management at Surrey Business School is seeking applications for a Professor (Chair) in Marketing and/or Retail Management.  The post holder will take a leadership role as Head of the Department for Marketing & Retail Management and be an active member of the Senior Management Team of Surrey Business School. The Department is particularly strong in both research outputs and in providing engaging learning and teaching in marketing and retail management at undergraduate and post-graduate levels.  The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate world-leading research with outputs that are consistently recognised as internationally excellent in the field; provide clear evidence of leadership in an academic role and a commitment to collaboration with academic and non-academic partners. Furthermore, they will offer excellence in the development and delivery of teaching and in supporting and enhancing student experience.The Head of Department role will initially be for a 3 year period.

This is a great opportunity to lead and develop the Department and its colleagues in achieving an internationally recognised research presence, particularly in retail marketing and distribution management, services marketing and management, consumer and shopper behaviour and digital marketing.
