The Department for People and Organisations at Surrey Business School is a leading centre for research in Work and Organisational Psychology, Human Resource Management (HRM) and Organisation Studies. Our faculty conduct world-leading research in our core areas of positive organisation relationships, decision-making, leadership, HRM, gender and diversity, performance assessment, and quality of working life. We apply our research in research-led teaching and external engagement with businesses to develop the next generation of evidence-based leaders and managers. The Department has grown strongly in recent years, and will continue to do so in future, with further appointments already in plan.


We seek to appoint a Professor to join our team, and this is a great opportunity to contribute to the leadership and development of the Department and help us to build further our nationally- and internationally-recognised research presence and reputation.  We welcome applications from scholars working in all areas of Work and Organisational Psychology, Human Resource Management and Organisation Studies, and particularly in the areas of personality and individual differences, performance and assessment, leadership, or job design and motivation.
