If so, we have a new opportunity in the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to lead and inspire the technical services teams across the two outstanding schools of Biosciences and Veterinary Medicine.  

This exciting opportunity will provide strategic leadership and oversight, ensuring the effective operation of the Schools technical services and facilities including our research and teaching laboratories, the large and small animal clinical facilities and our pathology, histology and anatomy facilities.

This is a new role covering a broad and diverse range of activity, where working alongside the Director of Faculty Operations and the Heads of Schools, you will foster collaboration between our diverse technical teams, visionary academic staff and aspiring students to facilitate a positive and productive environment where ideas flourish.  You will manage and oversee the allocation of technical resources, including staff, equipment and facilities to support the delivery of teaching and research together with some commercial activity.  Leading a team of highly skilled laboratory and facility managers you will ensure the highest standards of safety, quality and compliance and that the relevant health and safety regulations and protocols are maintained.  If you’re ready for the challenge, we’re inviting you to join our team in shaping the future!
