Applications are invited for a Lecturer in Politics in the Department of Politics within the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. The appointee will join a vigorous and lively department in an internationally recognised University with established strengths in the social sciences and humanities.

Applicants will hold an honours degree in Politics or International Relations (nornally a doctoral degree) or an equivalent qualification and have a pipeline of REF-able publications profile or already be published. We are particularly interested in applicants with expertise in public policy, British politics, electoral politics/behaviour, party politics/parliament, European or an additional area or policy specialism.

The successful candidate will contribute to the teaching of existing UG and PG modules in political science and international relations and supervision, provide a contribution to the Department’s outstanding research environment ahead of, and beyond the REF, and make an active contribution to the Department’s inhouse research centres and clusters
