An opportunity has arisen within the Bench Sports Bar Team at Surrey Sports Park for a proactive, self-motivated, and highly organised individual to join our team.

As a supervisor of our bar team at this busy prestigious Sports Park you will work closely with the team and bar manager in ensuring the bar and events are running efficiently. This a 7-day operation and the role includes days, evenings, weekends, and occasional early mornings as rostered by the Bar Manager. You will ideally have experience in a licenced bar or have experience within a catering background and have good skills along with a real drive to succeed and grow.

This role will be working with your colleagues within the Bench Bar and across the whole catering department. 

Your day-to-day activities include but are not limited to:

• Operational day to day supervision of service of food, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

• Customer service duties, handling payments, preparation of service and customer areas.

• Administrative duties including ordering, stock control and staff training.

• Engaging with our customers.

• Supervision of meeting room setups

• Supervision and setups of sports team catering.

• Preparing and setting up catering for meetings and events.

• General cleaning and deep cleaning of the bar, cellar, kitchen and catering areas.

You will have:

• Experience of providing excellent customer service

• Experience of working within a team
