An opportunity has arisen as a result of the expansion of the grounds maintenance team at Surrey University who have the responsibility for all the horticultural and sports ground maintenance and up keep of the landscaping around the University estate including any related contract works. The successful candidate will join an award-winning team who maintain the University's beautiful campus.

In this role you will be required to work as part of a team that carry out a wide range of horticultural tasks and associated works. After the relevant training you will be expected to operate a range of grounds maintenance machinery and equipment in order to provide a high quality, cost effective service for the University.

Experience in an ornamental horticultural environment, sports grounds maintenance and relevant NVQ or equivalent qualifications are desirable. A full valid UK driving licence is an essential requirement for this role and candidates need to be physically fit to carry out the manual duties require for this position.
