Who are you?

You have a strong track record of managing a PMO and supporting colleagues in using portfolio, programme and project management processes ideally within an IT department.

You enjoy the sense of achievement that comes from working with colleagues to solve problems and using your judgement and experience to advise and supply information to senior decision makers.

You are proactive and get a buzz from dealing with a variety of tasks at any one time to tight timescales.  You’re confident with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and with portfolio and project management tools and products.

An eye for detail and take pride in delivering good quality work.

Good knowledge and experience in using and supporting portfolio, programme and project management methodologies.

A good understanding of the information needed by different stakeholders to enable informed decisions to be made on a portfolio and individual projects.

Experience in collecting, maintaining and reporting on resource management data for a project portfolio.

An interest in looking at ways to improve processes and ways of working and happy to contribute to wider change initiatives.

Excellent self-organisation, time management and communication skills, and experience in leading a small team.

An aptitude in forming effective professional relationships and networks.
