The University of Surrey is a top ten UK University set in a beautiful campus half an hour’s journey from London.  Surrey is rated highly for teaching, the University has a Gold TEF award, and the School of Psychology was rated 10th in the 2020 Guardian league tables.  We are looking for a teaching fellow to support the social and personality psychology teaching at undergraduate and post graduate level from June 2020. The candidate will ideally have a degree in psychology and completed a PhD in the wider area of social and/or personality psychology. The candidate will work with the teaching team for social and personality psychology and be a member of the Social Emotions and Equality in Relations (SEER) Research Group.


The School is part of the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences and we have access to high quality facilities. We have on-site EEG, tDCS and TMS laboratories, a driving simulator, psychophysiological and eye-tracking facilities, XR simulation labs and dedicated off site access to an fMRI scanner. The Faculty also houses the Surrey Sleep Research Centre with its state-of-the-art sleep laboratories.
