Teaching Fellow A/B in Politics

Applications are invited for a Teaching Fellow (A/B) in Politics in the Department of Politics within the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. The appointee will join a vigorous and lively department in an internationally recognised University with established strengths in the social sciences and humanities.

This post is fixed term and the post holder is expected to contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate modules, either as a module leader or as part of a teaching team. They are also expected to participate in Departmental life through management and administration.

The post holder will contribute to our existing module portfolio, complement our existing research themes and have the potential to collaborate with colleagues, particularly in the areas of:

-           International Relations

-           European Foreign Policy

-           European Security and Defence.

The successful candidate will also have experience in undergraduate supervision, university administration, hybrid learning & teaching methods, and will be working towards or have obtained a PhD in Politics or related field.

The post will commence in September 2021 and is fixed for 12 months.

Salary ranges at 0.6 FTE.

Teaching Fellow A £19,690 - £24,193 p/a

Teaching Fellow B £24,915 - £29,731 p/a
