An opportunity has arisen within the Sports Delivery Team for a proactive, self-motivated and highly organised individual to join our team.

The role of the Surrey Storm Netball Development Officer is to develop and deliver a high quality and innovative Surrey Storm netball participation programme at Surrey Sports Park and the surrounding region. The role is key in widening Surrey Storm’s reputation and the delivery of sports participation and education programmes in education, leisure, and community settings. Working within the Sports Delivery team, the role will have a key focus on developing and delivering innovative projects with long term sustainability through effective workforce development and targeted marketing as well as managing the achievement of set financial targets.

Working towards a Surrey Sports Park  strategy, the role will lead the effective design and delivery of a diverse, exciting and innovative programme of netball opportunities which support the strategic growth of netball.  

As the ‘expert’ in netball development, the post holder is expected to lead on the shape and direction of the netbsll programme, to ensure that it supports the SSP strategy and achieves the key performance targets. 

The successful candidate will have excellent organising and prioritising skills and experience of working independently and dealing with unforeseen circumstances and problems.

This role requires work during unsocial hours, including early mornings, late evening and at weekends.
