An opportunity has arisen within the Sport Delivery department for a self-motivated, pro-active and highly organised individual to join our team.

The Swimming Delivery Officer is responsible for the management of a high quality and innovative portfolio of aquatics programmes and increasing usage of our world-class pool enabling SSP to achieve its key strategic and financial objectives. Reporting to the Sport and Fitness Delivery Manager, and managing relationships with key stakeholders, the role will have a key focus on developing and delivering high quality programmes and initiatives with exceptional customer experiences, creating opportunities for a diverse range of customers to engage in water based activity and managing the achievement of a set budget and membership targets. The post holder will actively contribute to the success of the Surrey Sports Park’s operations, and to delivering an outstanding experience through the customer journey. 

Working towards a Surrey Sports Park  strategy, the role will lead the effective design and delivery of a diverse, exciting and innovative programme of swimming  opportunities which support the strategic growth across the student, staff and local community.  

As the ‘expert’ in swimming, the post holder is expected to lead on the shape and direction of the swimming programme, to ensure that it supports the SSP strategy and achieves the key performance targets. 

The successful candidate will have excellent organising and prioritising skills and experience of working independently and dealing with unforeseen circumstances and problems.

This role requires work during unsocial hours, including early mornings, late evening and at weekends.
