The Employer Engagement Team is critical to the University’s aim of improving the employability of our students. The team facilitates the link between employers and students, developing relationships with employers to feed into their early talent recruitment and increasing the employability prospects of Surrey students.

The post holder will be responsible for supporting the delivery of the Employability and Careers team’s strategic aim of maintaining and enhancing the reputation of the University with employers.

The role focuses on facilitating contact between students and employers in a range of ways to ensure maximum student participation in a wide range of employer engagement activities and employer-related events. This includes a wide range of events & initiatives by the Employability and Careers team and stakeholders to offer students an insight into the world of work and enhance their employability skills. 

The post holder will support the work of the Employer Engagement team by enhancing our employer offering proactively building partnerships with employers to enhance the employability prospects of Surrey students. Ability to support the team’s evening events is essential for this position.

A natural relationship builder with commercial awareness, you will have excellent interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills in addition to strong organisational skills. Experience in a client focused account management/Business Development or a graduate recruitment role would be advantageous.
