Salary:  £24,948 to £27,929 Per annum

The Research Finance Administrator position is a permanent position.

The post holder will be responsible for supporting team colleagues in the administration of Post Award Research Finance activity. Inputting and maintaining data within the Agresso Budget and Finance System, which provides essential source data for management reporting to academic project holders, finance colleagues and to external sponsors. Provision of a comprehensive support service to the team in preparing and collating information and supporting documentation for the University’s external auditors both at institutional and grant specific levels. Allocating and posting research grant and fellowship income received from research councils to research projects. Running month end system processes. Assisting in the co-ordination of all reporting requirements for external funders and monitoring of compliance with funding rules. General team administration such as supporting and communicating portfolio changes, maintaining templates and guidance notes, arranging meetings and updating content on SurreyNet (intranet). Any other tasks as may be required. Contributing to process improvements
