Guildford School of Acting at the University of Surrey is one of the most highly regarded conservatoires in the UK, with a vibrant community of performers, performance makers, creative practitioners and technicians graduating from our wide variety of programmes each year.  As well as providing professional training and study at undergraduate and postgraduate level, GSA also runs a Junior Conservatoire, a vibrant Saturday School and a number of other short courses, as well as a full programme of public productions and events.

We are seeking an experienced Marketing Officer to join our Operations & Events Department to coordinate the creation and implementation of marketing and communication activities across all areas of GSA including student recruitment, third stream activity, event promotion, alumni relations and brand profile.  You will work closely with colleagues within the School as well as within the wider Marketing team at the University of Surrey.

We are looking for a collaborative person who can work with us to create truly authentic, inclusive content. You will be culturally competent and be able to tell authentic stories and design marketing messages that help us to represent ourselves and connect effectively with our future students, industry partners and communities.

The successful candidate will be a passionate and creative communicator, with experience in either arts marketing, arts PR or student recruitment at HE level, with a very good understanding of brand management and the HE sector across UK and international markets. Experience of devising and managing creative marketing campaigns you will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, digital know-how, confident presentation skills and experience creating communications for both print and digital platforms.
