We are currently seeking a Senior Marketing Manager (Student Marketing) to join our Student Marketing team on a full time basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Higher Education marketing specialist to work alongside other talented professionals, delivering on the University’s student marketing objectives.

Reporting into the Head of Marketing and, and with five direct reports, you will lead and support the team members to deliver the University’s Undergraduate, Postgraduate Taught and Postgraduate Research student marketing strategies.

You will be experienced and confident working alongside other marketing, admissions and recruitment colleagues to ensure the team execute innovative and effective marketing campaigns for the University in alignment with the marketing recruitment and University strategic objectives. You will be responsible for pan University coordination across multiple faculties and divisions to develop student attraction and recruitment plans, and support the Student Marketing and Email Managers to deliver through multiple integrated channel marketing activities.

You will be responsible for achieving the recruitment objectives and ensuring the resource and budgets are managed appropriately.

You will have:

  • Excellent planning, project management, influencing and communication skills are essential with strong attention to detail and the ability to work with all levels of stakeholder and manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Strong marketing experience within Higher education and experience of managing and executing innovative and effective marketing and communication campaigns via multiple channels and ensuring that they are delivered within budget and scope.
  • Strong people management skills to motivate and develop team members
  • A confident oral communicator in order to gain the necessary information from stakeholders to progress each project and in order to persuade individuals to complete tasks to agreed deadlines and within the project schedule.
