About the Role
Surrey Business School is a leading business school with over 120 academic staff members from around the globe, and a highly cohesive and collegial atmosphere. The School is accredited by AACSB, AMBA and holds the Advance HE Athena SWAN bronze award. We inspire positive change in business and society, individuals and organisations, locally and globally by blending the rigour of high-quality impactful research with excellent teaching and the strengths of a technology-led university. The School runs a full range of programmes including undergraduate, postgraduate and MBA programmes, as well as a PhD programme. We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer to support our teaching programmes.
You will join an existing team of three who run the Business Foundation Programme. Since this programme will prepare students for direct entry into our degree programmes, prior experience of teaching at FHEQ levels 3 or 4 is essential. We are looking to appoint someone who is experienced in handling the challenges associated with transition to HE and shares the progressive and student-centred teaching philosophy of our existing team.
About You
Applicants should have a Business background. We will be happy to consider flexible working requests (including variable hours applications) which you should outline along with your availability in your cover letter. Preferably, the candidate would be able to make an immediate start.
