The University of Surrey places the support and development of researchers at the heart of our research strategy. Coming in the top 15 for overall satisfaction in the 2021 PRES, we are enhancing our Researcher Development and Employability team with a post to achieve the optimal research environment for our postgraduate and early career researchers (PGRs and ECRs).

The Doctoral College team at the University of Surrey provides a broad range of personal and professional development opportunities for doctoral and postdoctoral researchers within the University. We work with internal and external stakeholders to create sector-leading learning opportunities and the optimal research culture in which to build and launch a stellar research career.

If you have a passion for development, understand the context and challenges of the research role and enjoy working with researchers to support their development then we would welcome your application for a permanent post on our team.

The successful applicant will have a Doctoral-level qualification and relevant experience and be encouraged to bring a highly professional, proactive, and collaborative approach to the role including strong communication and stakeholder engagement. You will join a collegiate team, with support to enhance your own professional development.
