Surrey Clinical Trials Unit (CTU) is an academic trials unit that has experience, expertise and infrastructure to design, develop, organise and manage high quality multi-centre, randomised controlled trials. The CTU is located within the Clinical Research Building, which also houses Surrey Clinical Research Facility, Surrey Sleep Research Centre including the  Dementia Research Institute Living Lab, and Surrey Heartlands Health Tech Accelerator; all of which are situated on the University Manor Park site, close to the main University campus and Surrey Sports Park.

We are looking for an experienced Trial Manager to join the team and be responsible for the preparation, execution, data management, monitoring and reporting of a Medical Device trial which is currently in set-up. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with previous experience within clinical trials to join a CTU with full UKCRC registration.

The post holder will also be responsible for the data management of the trial, so experience in the entry, cleaning and validation of clinical trial data is essential.

The post holder will have experience working within clinical trials management, ideally in an academic CTU, good working knowledge of clinical trial regulations including ICH-GCP, and excellent organisational and communication skills. They will have the ability to work as part of a team and independently, using initiative where appropriate.

The Clinical Trial Manager will report to the Clinical Project Manager.

The post is initially for a fixed term until 30th September 2022.

Our benefits package includes generous annual leave entitlement, pension scheme, competitive salary and relocation assistance where applicable.

We will consider applications to work on a part-time, flexible and job share basis where possible.
