An opportunity has arisen within the Operations department for a proactive, self-motivated and highly organised individual to join our team as a Senior Recreation Assistant.

You will operate as part of a team, assisting the Duty Manager with the delivery excellent customer services and the day-to-day operation of the centre. This includes cleaning and maintenance, preparation of areas and equipment for sessions as appropriate, providing poolside supervision and potentially performing water-based rescues. 

Previous experience in a supervisory role is desirable, as is a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ), or equivalent, and a First Aid Certificate. If successful, the NPLQ would be fully funded by Surrey Sports Park.

This role will include working early mornings, late evenings and weekends on a rota basis.
