Research Fellow in Machine Learning for Sleep Monitoring

Applications are invited for a Dementia Research Institute funded Postdoctoral Research Fellow position (36 months in the first instance) based in the Surrey Sleep Research Centre (SSRC) led by Professor Derk-Jan Dijk ( Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences) and the Centre for Vision Speech and Signal Processing (CVSSP) led by Prof Adrian Hilton (Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences).

This post is funded by the Dementia Research Institute (DRI) Care Research & Technology Centre, which is a collaboration between Imperial College London and the University of Surrey. The successful candidate will work across a variety of tasks and research methods to develop and evaluate technology and algorithms for multivariate contactless monitoring of sleep in humans in the home environment.

We are therefore looking for a highly motivated individual who holds a PhD in a relevant area and has an interest in sleep, technology and data science/machine learning.
