We are seeking a proactive Marketing Co-ordinator for our vibrant and ambitious Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences Marketing team. The Faculty Marketing team is part of the wider University Marketing, Recruitment and Admissions Team.  In this role you will be empowered to work individually and collectively across the marketing team, and the Faculty, to engage a wide range of audiences and to support our student recruitment.

Reporting to the Faculty Marketing Manager, you will be a critical member of the Faculty Marketing team, supporting the stakeholder management and development and implementation of marketing plans to support the recruitment of applicants, as well as supporting other marketing activities, across the Faculty.  The post-holder You will be the named first marketing contact for a small number of Faculty Schools and Departments.

You will effectively communicate to internal and external audiences and ensure good communication channels between the Faculty and the Central teams. Supporting the Marketing Manager, you will contribute to the planning and development and implementation of marketing activities, measuring success and return on investment through continual analysis and feedback.

Relationship management is key to this role, so experience of client and/or stakeholder management at a variety of levels is essential.

The successful candidate will have:

- Great relationship management skills and an ability and confidence to present and report to key stakeholders – emotional intelligence to work with a variety of different stakeholders and colleagues

- Knowledge and experience of understanding project and campaign planning

- Understanding of marketing concepts and applications

- Experience of managing a diverse workload, and the ability to multi-task concurrent projects across a variety of Schools/ Departments

- Experience of the digital environment and how best to use this channel for effective marketing.

- Demonstrable passion and enthusiasm for the Arts & Social Sciences would be desirable.
