Are you someone who is practical, super organised, loves a spreadsheet, enjoys working with people and thrives on variety? We’ve a great opportunity to join our Faculty Operations team in the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, based within the University of Surrey.

The Faculty is a truly inspirational and fascinating environment to work in.  Delivering teaching to over 5000 students training to be the Bio scientists, Psychologists, Nurses, Paramedics, Midwives and Veterinary Surgeons of the future.

The role

As Project Administrator you will be part of face paced, motivated team with the opportunity to build your skills and career. 

You’ll be responsible for providing administrative support to the members of faculty operations team across a wide variety of tasks such as monitoring shared inboxes, creating purchase orders, tracking project progress and liaising with internal and external stakeholders. 

There’s lots of variety, lots of interaction with academics, research colleagues and students and the opportunity to learn and develop. 

About you

We are looking for a well organised, enthusiastic individual with a genuine interest in operations, projects and administration. 

You will be confident working autonomously and as part of a wider team when required. You’ll look to your line manager and peers for support and guidance on larger projects. Training will be in place to support you, and help you develop in the role. 

You will need to take a flexible approach to your day as things might change quickly and you’ll need to react. There might be occasions where we need you to flexible with your working hours.
