We are excited to invite applications for a new Communication Officer to join a new European Framework integrating veterinary, medical and environmental health research, known as the One Health European Joint Programme (OHEJP). The position will be based in the Department of Pathology and Infectious Diseases (School of Veterinary Medicine) at the University of Surrey. You will be a part of a vibrant inter-disciplinary research environment with a strong international reputation and part of a wider network of 39 partners across Europe.

This role is ideal for candidates who have a strong track record of producing content for and managing social media channels and websites. If you have previously written engaging and high quality print and digital content for internal and external audiences then this could be the perfect role for you. In this role, you will enjoy the responsibility for providing proactive internal and external communications support for the One Health EJP (OHEJP) consortium working as part of the OHEJP Communications Team, including overseeing and maintaining the organisation's website.  We'd especially be keen to hear from candidates who have previously worked in a scientific project.

The ideal candidate will have creative design experience for promotion of events, digital marketing experience with websites (WordPress) and social media channels and email marketing experience.
