The University of Surrey’s Doctoral College is looking for a well-organised and enthusiastic part-time (0.4) administrative officer to join its Research Degrees team. The successful candidate will join the current team of seven administrators who manage the programme lifecycle for postgraduate researchers (PhD programmes). Tasks will include arranging inductions for new postgraduate researchers, maintaining accurate records on the student records system and liaising with staff across the University, including PhD supervisors, to help postgraduate researchers meet their programme milestones and complete within their registration period. This role will interest those who enjoy a busy, student-facing environment, where they can utilise their excellent communication and organisational skills and work as part of a vibrant team. Whilst the team are currently working from home, there is the option to work from campus part of the week
