An exciting opportunity has arisen to work in the IT Department as the Communications Manager.  The role has responsibility for all internal IT communications across the University for staff and students.

The post holder will be expected to deliver vibrant, innovative and timely communications on a range of IT projects, events and initiatives, underpinned by an understanding of the overall university comms strategy and IT strategy. They are responsible for developing and delivering strategic communications plans and campaigns within IT Services, including the production of a variety of effective print and digital communication materials. 

The post holder is expected to possess a strong understanding of communications strategies and their implementation, in addition to outstanding communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to express complex or technical material in an accessible and engaging way.

The role is to provide maternity cover for a period of approx. 12 months.
