We are looking for a highly motivated, organised technician to join the School of Veterinary Medicine, within Veterinary Pathology Centre.

Working within a team of technical staff, you will provide frontline technical support for undergraduate and postgraduate classes in the Veterinary Laboratories with in the School of Veterinary Medicine. You will provide advice and solutions for routine day-to-day problems in the specialist technical areas in which they are familiar and make recommendations for improvements in the efficiency of this service.

This job at times involves collections of teaching materials using the pathology van, therefore a full, clean UK driving licence would be required.

A good understanding of veterinary around a variety of animals including Farm animal and Equine would be adventurous. This position will be required to provide technical support where necessary across the School of Veterinary Medicine, primarily the Veterinary Pathology Centre.

Working within University guidelines and procedures, you will instruct and demonstrate safe working practices on the use of specialist equipment.

We are looking for a highly motivated, organised technician to join the School of Veterinary Medicine, who is eager to learn new skills within Veterinary teaching.
